We recently went on a family weekend away to mark Peter's impending 60th birthday. We rented a house overlooking the ocean at Scarborough, about 30 mins north of Wollongong. We had a great view of the sunrise from the upstairs balcony. The ocean was dotted with coal ships waiting to enter Port Kembla.

After joking over Easter that summer has finally arrived, it was a chilly 11C this morning. The number of walkers on Manly Beach was noticeably lower, though one brave couple stripped down to Speedos and wandered down for a swim.
